Placing an Order
All customers will be considering as agreeing automatically with our privacy policy when placing an order on DecentLiving.com. Please read more: PRIVACY POLICY.
Order Cancellation
Prices on decentlving.com are subject to change without further notice. DecentLiving does reserve the right to cancel any order under certain circumstances.
An invoice/receipt will be e-mailed to the address provided with confirmation of purchase after the order payment processed. Orders could be cancelled at any time for various reasons including but not limited to: insufficient stock, buyer’s creditability issues, suspicion of fraudulent etc. If the order payment has already been processed, a full refund will be issued at the time of cancellation.
If any item selected for purchase is not available or out of stock, we will contact the customer as soon as possible to notify them of the discrepancy. A full refund will be issued at the time of order cancellation.
Currency
All prices are in both Canadian and US Dollars.
Payment
Customers are responsible for all importing costs including but not exclusive to import taxes, duties, brokerage fees etc. If you have any problem checking out, please email us at info@decentliving DOT com
Sales Tax
Residents of Ontario Canada will be subject to HST. Canadian residents outside of Ontario will be subject to GST only. No tax will be collected for all customers outside of Canada.
Privacy & Security
DECENTLIVING respects your privacy. Personal information is required to complete your business transactions which include credit card processing or shipping address. However, it will never be sold or shared with third parties for any other purpose.

Warranty
We warrant to the original purchaser that all the other products are free from defects in design, material, and workmanship. All the other products come with a 1-year standard warranty.
If you encounter any issues, please contact us at info@thedecetliving dot com with a picture attached to the email and we will assist you from there. Please note that all the warranty is only applicable to the original purchaser with proof of purchase and it is not transferable.
Desktops
We warrant to the original purchaser that the desktops are free from defects in design, material, and workmanship.
All the wooden desktops and laminate desktops come with a 1-year warranty.
The warranty is applicable but is subject, but not limited, to the limitations below:
Variations in the its unquiet wood grain, natural cracks / holes and its finishing.
Change of color slightly over time.
Minor cracks and irregularities due to normal wood movement.
Slight bending, if the room temperature the surface is placed in is subject to variations of temperature and/or humidity.
To avoid curvature of the desktop. please distribute the weight evenly on the surface. Any bend from undistributed weight is not covered by the warranty.
Desk Frame & Electrical Components
We warrant to the original purchaser that the desk frame system is free from defects in design, material, and workmanship.
Metal frame warranty
The warranty is applicable for five (5) years for the frame.
The electrical component’s warranty
The warranty is applicable for Two (2) years for the electrical components.
The warranty is applicable but is subject, but not limited, to the limitations below:
Defaults caused by inadequate installation and/or use.
All products that were modified or repaired by the user or a third party other than DecentLiving.
Normal use damages and scratches.
An extensive weight used on the sit-stand desk (over 250 pounds).
Damage caused during a relocation (move) of the adjustable desk.
