Shipping & Orders

All orders are processed, packed, and shipped as quickly and carefully as possible from Toronto, Canada. We ship worldwide (see Where We Ship). If your destination is not listed at checkout, please contact us.

Processing & Shipping Times

  • Orders are shipped within 1–3 business days after payment is received.
  • Once shipped, you will receive a notification with tracking information.

Shipping Rates & Free Shipping

  • Canada & U.S. (Lower 48): Flat-rate shipping for orders under $79.
  • International: Rates vary based on weight, size, value, shipping time, and destination.
  • Free Shipping: Orders over $79 qualify for free standard shipping within Canada and the U.S. (Lower 48).
    • Certain oversized or heavy products do not qualify for free shipping and will be noted on the product page.

Shipping Insurance & Import Fees

  • To protect your purchase, shipping insurance may be added to cover loss or damage during transit.
  • Customers are responsible for all additional costs, including import taxes, duties, and brokerage fees.

Shipping Restrictions & Responsibility

  • We do not ship to P.O. Boxes—a physical address is required.
  • While we strive to provide accurate shipping information, we are not responsible for delays, lost, stolen, or damaged packages caused by natural disasters, third-party carrier errors, or international border issues.
  • Fees from rejected packages will be the buyer’s responsibility and are non-refundable.

  • Flat Rate Shipping is available for Canada and the U.S. (Lower 48) to simplify the ordering process.
  • Shipping rates vary based on size, weight, quantity, and merchandise value (including insurance costs).
  • International Shipping: We have partnered with a reliable and cost-effective international shipping provider to ensure safe and efficient delivery worldwide.

All shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer and will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Shipping Information for Canadian Orders

  • Flat Rate Shipping: $15 (standard) / $35 (for NT, YK, NV)
  • Free Shipping: Orders over $79 qualify for free standard shipping
  • Showroom Pick-Up: Available by appointment

All Canadian orders are processed and shipped from Toronto, ON, using qualified carriers.

Large Item Shipping: Oversized items such as bikes, desks, frames, and chairs may incur additional shipping fees due to size and weight.

Returns: Rejected or unauthorized returns will be sent back to our return address in Canada, and any additional shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.

Shipping Information for U.S. (Lower 48) Orders

  • Flat Rate Shipping: $15 (standard)
  • Free Shipping: Orders over $79 qualify for free standard shipping

All U.S. orders are processed and shipped using USPS or UPS within the USA. We work with reliable carriers, including USPS, FedEx, and UPS, providing tracking information and estimated delivery times.

Import Fees: Customers are responsible for all import-related costs, including taxes, duties, and brokerage fees.

Large Item Shipping: Oversized items such as bikes, desks, frames, and chairs may incur additional shipping fees due to size and weight.

Returns: Rejected or unauthorized returns will be sent back to our return address in Canada, and any additional shipping fees, duties, and/or taxes will be the customer’s responsibility.

  • Import Fees: Customers are responsible for all import-related costs, including taxes, duties, and brokerage fees.

International deliveries may be subject to local import duties and taxes, payable by the customer upon receipt. Customs and carrier delays may also impact delivery times. DECENTLIVING does not refund, reimburse, or cover any importing fees under any circumstances.

Where We Ship

We currently ship to Canada, the United States, most EU countries, Australia, and New Zealand.

Showroom Pickup

If you prefer to pick up your order locally, please contact us before placing your order. Pickup will be available within 2-3 business days at our Mississauga Showroom (Dixie/Queensway) after your order has been approved.

You will receive a notification with the pickup date and detailed address. Please bring proof of purchase when collecting your order.

Returns & Exchanges – Online Orders

Refunds and exchanges must be requested within 7 days of delivery. If you experience any issues upon receiving your order, please notify us immediately—we’ll work to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

Damaged or Defective Products

  • If your item arrives damaged during shipping or is originally defective, DecentLiving will replace it at no cost to you.
  • Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of receiving your shipment.
  • Please take photos of the original damaged box so we can file an insurance claim with the carrier if necessary.

Refunds & Return Conditions

  • Refunds are only issued after items are returned in unused, original condition.
  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, as well as any duties and/or taxes incurred on return shipments.
  • Inbound and outbound shipping costs, duties, taxes, payment processing fees, and related charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • If returned items are damaged during return shipping, the buyer is responsible for any loss.

Return & Exchange Process

  • All returns and exchanges must be approved by our team.
  • Returns, exchanges, or refunds will not be accepted without a DecentLiving-issued RT (Return Tracking) number.
  • To request a RT number, please email [email protected] before shipping any items back.
  • Customers are responsible for both return and replacement shipping in the case of an exchange.

Final Sale Items

  • All sale items and customized products are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
